The Four Horsemen - Tribute to Metallica Sarasota Concert reviews
They Came, They Rocked!
I had never seen them live at their peak, and the rain clouds hovering overhead made me wonder if the concert would be worth the pair of shoes the pouring rain would surely ruin. Sure, The Four Horsemen - Tribute to Metallica has already achieved legendary status; sure I grew up listening to rock anthems like "Dirty Deeds" and "She Shook Me All Night Long." But my boyfriend loved the idea of going to the concert, and I had already bought the tickets, so I went. So here is the amazing thing: I wasn't all that sure that I'd love this concert.
This concert was a head-banging good time! You really got the impression that they were giving it all they got. I am still stunned by these guys' stamina and commitment. Angus Young's 20 min solo may sound long-winded and painful, instead, it was one of the best rock and roll moments I ever witnessed (and this is coming from someone who also attended The Police's farewell tour earlier this year!). They played all the favorites and closed the show with a big bang (I won't spoil it for you). I'd describe this concert in just one word: Awesome! And you'll feel like you're witnessing history to boot! Run, don't walk to this concert when they get to your town, you'll be glad you did. Oh, and the rain never came. Am I glad I did!
